When we are hurt, disappointed or when we suffer losses of loved ones we can either become bitter or compassionate. Bitterness will lead us down the path of defeat and loneliness. Compassion however will lead us down the road of happiness, fulfillment and peace of mind. The people with hate and bitterness give us 911 at the world trade center. Many innocents friends and families died on that day a horrible death through the scheme of those filled with hate and bitterness. We who are alive and knows the virtue of compassion can forgive and love in return by building bridges of friendship and tolerance.
Jesus Christ the holy scriptures says on many occasions was move with compassion when he saw the plight or needs of the multitude or the individual. He in turn would heal, feed, or in some way minister to their needs. What unlimited truths we can learn form the Jesus the Son of the Living God. We all need to choose the high road of compassion and forgiveness. In return we ourselves will be forgiven and be blessed by God.
The choice is ours. What will it be?

so true
Remember to share this blog with your friends and family.
Amen.
Compassion is for the weak. If we "build bridges of friendship and tolerance" we may in fact be setting ourselves up for another attack instead of protecting ourselves and our families. Our enemies will always be our enemies, no matter how nice we act towards them. This sounds like foolishness to me.
I agree with the last posted comment. We need to be smart about this, not act like we're not in danger.
An example: Nidal Malik Hasan.
ANOTHER Muslim to attack America. What has forgiving them done? That cannot help us...it will only put us in more danger.
